WOOD RIVER — The Madison County Health Department on Monday launched a new COVID-19 Information Hub to centralize information about the virus and the department’s response for the community.
The new online site at https://coronavirus-response-madcoil.hub.arcgis.com/ features several sections, such as COVID-19 vaccine information — including the number of doses given — as well as general COVID-19 information, resources and translated materials.
There are also links to the health department’s homepage, its Coronavirus Resource Page, the Madison County Health Department COVID-19 Dashboard, volunteer information and answers to frequently asked questions.
“We are excited to launch this COVID-19 Information Hub to help our community easily find information and have a platform that we will continue to update as more information becomes available throughout the remainder of this response,” said Toni Corona, Madison County Public Health Director.
Later this week the county health department plans to launch its an Online Appointment Scheduler and a special phone number. Also planned is a map with sites administering vaccines in Madison County — all currently by appointment only — and additional materials.
The COVID-19 Information Hub also can be accessed through the health department’s website at www.madisonchd.org.
